A Stormstown man faces simple assault and harassment charges after being arrested Thursday morning.
Robert Partner II, 30, was arraigned before District Judge Leslie Dutchcot, according to a news release from state police at Philipsburg. He’s accused of assaulting a 32-year-old woman “multiple times” from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. Thursday at a Stormstown residence, police said.
According to police, the woman sustained several injuries before fleeing the house after Partner fell asleep and going to a relative’s home for help. Police said she went to the Mount Nittany Medical Center emergency room by private vehicle, and was treated and released.
Partner was taken to the Centre County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 22.
