Homeless woman arrested at Benner Pike Wal-Mart, accused of theft, drug possession

State College police arrested a homeless woman Thursday at the Wal-Mart on Benner Pike, police said.

Tara Miller, 36, initially was stopped for the theft of about $25 worth of beauty products, police said. When she was searched, police found Ecstasy, Adderall, Klonopin and heroin residue on her person.

She was jailed on charges of theft, possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
