Woman transported to hospital after Park Avenue crash near I-99 entrance

A two-car collision on Park Avenue near the Interstate 99 on-ramp resulted in a hospital trip for one of the drivers.

The collision occurred at about 5:15 p.m. Friday. According to police, Nikki Rohrback, 35, of Philipsburg, attempted to make a left turn from Park onto the on-ramp in a Chevrolet Sonic. Her vehicle was struck by a Chevrolet Cobalt driven by Erik Kerns, 24, of Harrisburg.

Both drivers claimed they had the right of way, police said. Rohrback was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center for evaluation.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene, police said.
