Bellefonte woman hurt in College Township crash

A Bellefonte resident was sent to the hospital after hitting a parked car in College Township.

According to police, Taylor Trump, 20, was driving along Oak Ridge Avenue when she struck an illegally parked Chevrolet owned by Donald Cassidy, of Ephrata, at about 2 a.m. Friday.

Trump said she needed glasses to drive, but wasn’t wearing them at the time of the accident, police said. She was cited for careless driving.

Police said she was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center with minor injuries.
