A Mount Union woman was injured Friday after a one-vehicle accident on I-99 in Taylor Township.
State Police at Philipsburg said the driver, Ciara Cullen, 23, was driving north on I-99 in the right lane when she fell asleep at the wheel and drifted off the right shoulder of the road.
She then stuck a guardrail, traveled back across both lanes and came to a rest facing north between the right lane and right shoulder of the road, the police report said.
Cullen sustained minor facial injuries and was treated by Moshannon Valley and Port Matilda EMS before being released.
The car sustained front end damage and was towed by Halfmoon Towing.
Cullen was charged with a traffic violation.
