All Centre County school districts to dismiss early today

All five school districts in Centre County are dismissing schools early today because of heavy snow squalls predicted this afternoon.

The Philipsburg-Osceola Area School District has announced that classes at the middle and high schools will be dismissed at 12:30 p.m. and elementary students will be dismissed at 1:30 p.m.

The State College Area School District will dismiss middle school and high school students at 1:30 p.m. Elementary school dismissals will be as normal.

The State High Project Information Fair will still be held at 6 p.m. at State High South.

Bellefonte schools will dismiss middle school and high school students at 1:30 p.m. Elementary school dismissals will be at 2:30 p.m.

Bald Eagle Area School District will dismiss all schools at 1:30 p.m.

Penns Valley Schools will dismiss kindergarten through fourth grades at 1:45 p.m., Fifth and sixth grades at 2:05 p.m. and the high school at 2 p.m.
