A longtime Centre County assistant district attorney will soon be leaving the office.
Nathan Boob turned in his resignation to District Attorney Stacy Parks Miller on Friday to take a position as a senior deputy district attorney in another county. Boob cited an increase in pay as a reason for departure and condemned recent “unwarranted attacks” against the District Attorney’s Office in his resignation letter.
Boob has been with the office since 2002 and prosecuted all manner of cases.
He is a graduate of Penns Valley Area High School, Penn State and the Dickinson School of Law, according to his profile on the district attorney’s website.
