Police think alcohol was a factor in an incident that required a man to be flown to Geisinger Medical Center Sunday morning.
State College police were called to an apartment building on the 200 block of South Sparks Street about 2:10 a.m. Sunday and found a 19-year-old man, covered in blood and vomit, lying unconscious in a stairwell of a building, police said. He was discovered to have a fractured skull and flown to Danville. A preliminary investigation determined that he most likely fell down the steps, according to police.
