After beating Huntingdon 96-52 and Philipsburg-Osceola 106-40, the Penns Valley Lady Rams captured the Mountain League title for the second year in a row.
“The girls have worked hard all season with the hopes of repeating as Mountain League Champions, today all their hard work paid off.” said Penns Valley coach Lynda Federinko.
The Lady Rams were led by junior Destiny Andrus, who won both the 100- and 200-meter runs. She was joined by senior Valerie Kubalak as a double winner. Kubalak won the high and triple jumps.
Other Penns Valley winners included hurdlers Kayla Bracken (100 hurdles) and Naomi Olsen-Zelman (300 hurdles).
