The Rollin’ with Rotary tour will kick off Saturday in State College.
The canned food drive for the local food bank will be led by four young professionals known as “Rollin’ with Rotary.”
Jason Browne, of State College, will join Adam Barth, of Jacksonville, N.C., Kathy Fahy, of Spirit Lake, Iowa, and Marie Fallon, of Pittsburgh, in a weeklong drive from State College to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to rally communities and “to create excitement about giving, sharing talents, sharing kindness with others and simply being a gift to the world.”
“We want everyone to see that Rotary is cool, hip and relevant,” Rotary International Director Jennifer Jones said. “My job on the tour is to introduce you to the bright future of our organization and this is the first time that anything like this has ever been attempted. These four young professional Rotarians exemplify how Rotarians feel at every age — ready for service to their communities and the world.”
