The 25th annual Mount Nittany Medical Center Golf Classic is on the horizon, and this year’s funds are going “straight to the heart.”
Participants will be helping to raise funds for state-of-the-art upgrades to MNMC’s cardiac catheterization lab, according to a press release. The lab is used during heart attack intervention for identifying and correcting other heart health conditions.
Participating golfers will enjoy a round of golf, a commemorative gift, an on-course food station, a boxed lunch, post-play reception, dinner and an awards ceremony, the release said. The tournament also includes the chance for one golfer to win a choice of $10,000 or a 2015 Subaru Impreza.
Team prizes will also be awarded, the release said, as well as prizes for each course for the longest drive, straightest drive, closest to the pin and longest putt.
