Three State College Area High School seniors scored perfectly on standardized tests this year.
According to a report from district spokesman Chris Rosenblum, the students were Sojung Kim, Cuyler Luck and Gopal Jayakar.
Kim earned a perfect score of 240 on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
Rosenblum said that’s equivalent to a 2,400 on the SAT.
PSAT scores are used to determine eligibility for the National Merit Scholarship Program, and include math, critical reading and writing skills.
Luck and Jayakar received an ACT score of 36, the highest possible mark.
