Careless driving blamed in 3-vehicle crash

Careless driving is being cited as the reason for a three-vehicle accident in College Township.

According to State College police, Caitlin Larkin, 20, of Pittsburgh, was traveling south at 10 a.m. Friday along the 800 block of Fox Hollow Road. Larkin said she was looking at her cellphone and didn’t realize she had crossed the center line into oncoming traffic.

Larkin sideswiped a vehicle driven by Jon Little, 71, of Bethlehem, police said, before striking a vehicle head-on driven by Sandra Kyler, 45, of Philipsburg.

Larkin and Kyler were taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center for various injuries, police said. All three vehicles were towed from the scene.
