I-80 drug arrest yields 8 pounds of marijuana, ‘fake urine’

A Philipsburg man is being held on $250,000 bail after officers found 8 pounds of marijuana and a plastic bladder full of “fake urine” in his vehicle early Thursday during a traffic stop on I-80, according to state police.

Police said 43-year-old Dennis C. Glace was stopped about 12:20 a.m. Thursday by Rockview and K-9 officers at mile marker 163 in Marion Township, about two miles east of the junction with I-99.

After police determined that Glace was a “wanted individual,” they searched his vehicle and discovered the marijuana in the trunk, along with packaging material and fake urine, police said.

Glace remained in the Centre County Correctional Facility on Friday night, jail records show. He is facing charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and furnishing drug-free urine.

A preliminary hearing for Glace is set for Oct. 28.
