Patton Township motorists may notice increased enforcement along local roads as the township police department announced it is partnering with state police to conduct aggressive-driving enforcement from Monday through Nov. 22.
Township police will be targeting North Atherton Street and Buffalo Run Road, a police news release said, and any other roadway in the township. The patrols aim to reduce the number of aggressive driving-related crashes, injuries and deaths in a statewide initiative.
The aggressive-driving enforcement is a part of PennDOT’s Aggressive Driving Enforcement and Education Project, the release said.
