Two drivers were taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash in State College.
According to police, at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, Tammy Woodring, 56, of Tyrone, was making a left turn off West Park Avenue to the Route 322 west on-ramp. She was struck by Martha Johnson, 47, of Bellefonte.
Woodring said she couldn’t be certain she had the green left arrow when she began the turn, police said. Johnson said she was certain she had a green light, but admitted to traveling 45 mph in a 35 zone.
Both drivers were taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center, police said, as Woodring complained of wrist pain and Johnson complained of neck pain. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. No citations were issued.
