AE Works hired Andrew Kordish to be a project architect at its State College offices.

Kordish served in the United States Marine Corps Reserve and has 25 years of experience in the architecture and engineering industry as a job captain and project architect. His portfolio ranges from higher education and K-12 projects to 24/7 corrections, justice and health care facilities.

AccuWeather honored Alfred Blackadar for his leadership and contributions in meteorology.

Blackadar, who died Jan. 17, was an American Meteorological Society fellow, former AMS president and professor emeritus at Penn State. He was also the department head and a faculty member of Penn State’s department of meteorology in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences from 1967-81. He also taught AccuWeather founder, president and chairman Joel Myers during Myers’ undergraduate and graduate work at Penn State.
