Larry Wilson knows Moe’s.
Wilson, Moe’s Southwest Grill’s franchisee of the year, plans to open his 14th Mexican restaurant in May after renovations.
“He runs restaurants tight, and he’s community focused, so a lot of what he does outside of running the franchises is being involved in the community,” spokesman Stephen Donnelly said. “He’s big on giving back.”
Studies marked the Centre Region — and Patton Township in particular — as a good location.

“It’s a great market,” Donnelly said. “One thing he’s good about doing is identifying good markets and how they’ll work with Moe’s based on studies.”
Donnelly described Moe’s as a fast, casual restaurant with a “family-friendly atmosphere.”
The restaurant, at 211 Patriot Lane, will be 3,200 square feet, seat 96 people and have 30 to 40 part-time and full-time employees.
