Weber Murphy Fox, a regional architectural firm, recently announced the promotion of State College office manager Anne Childe to a principal position.

She has practiced with architectural firms in State College and Philadelphia, served on the State College Borough Design Review Board, and serves on the Occupational Advisory Committee for the State College Area School District architectural drafting and design curriculum.

Peter Sides, of Robert M. Sides Family Music Centers, was elected to the National Association of Music Merchants board of directors. The NAMM board of directors provides guidance and leadership to the global music instrument and product industry.

As the president of Robert M. Sides Family Music Centers, Sides is the third generation of his family in the music retail business. His grandfather started the business out of his home in 1937, selling and repairing pianos.

The Geisinger Health System Foundation board of directors recently announced the appointment of David T. Feinberg as the organization’s new president and chief executive officer, effective May 1.

Feinberg, who will succeed Glenn Steele Jr., will become the sixth chief executive officer in Geisinger’s 100-year history. He serves as president of the University of California at Los Angeles Health System, and is the chief executive officer of UCLA Hospital System and associate vice chancellor of UCLA Health Sciences in California.
