Uber was first known for driving people to a destination, but the company began to deliver the goods to customers in 2014.

UberEats, an on-demand food delivery app, recently launched in Happy Valley, the first location in Pennsylvania outside of Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. More than 20 restaurants have agreed to terms of food delivery with UberEats.
The company announced Tuesday the official launch of UberEats in the State College area.
