Several Centre County grocery stores will close for Easter. Here’s what’s open
Some stores in Centre County will have amended hours in observance of Easter Sunday, April 5.
Some service providers — banks, post offices — are already closed Sunday, but Centre Region trash pickup is unaffected. In Bellefonte, Friday’s refuse pickup will be Wednesday, April 1, instead.
Some grocery stores in the State College area will be open Easter with modified hours, and others will close.
Grocery stores open Easter
- All Giant locations, modified hours (6 a.m to 4 p.m.)
- All Weis locations, modified hours (7 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
- All Walmart locations, regular hours (6 a.m. to 11 p.m.)
- Wegmans, regular hours (6 a.m. to midnight); pharmacy closed
- Trader Joe’s, regular hours (9 a.m. to 9 p.m.)
Closed
- Both Aldi locations
- Both Target locations
- Sam’s Club
- All Fine Wine & Good Spirits locations
- Burkholder’s Country Market (always closed Sunday)
- Sowers Market (always closed Sunday)
- Nature’s Pantry (always closed Sunday)
