Deon Butler was the second Penn State wide receiver taken in the third round of the NFL Draft Sunday, going with the 91st overall selection to the Seattle Seahawks.
The 5-foot-10, 182-pounder from Woodbridge, Va., led the Nittany Lions in receiving yardage in each of the last four seasons, and he finished his career as Penn State's all-time receptions leader (179), passing Bobby Engram, who left the Seahawks for Kansas City via free agency this offseason.
The Seahawks had acquired the pick in a trade with the New York Giants, who had earlier acquired it in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles.
