An illegal alien from Guyana was tasered by state police after he became unruly and uncooperative during a traffic stop on Interstate 80 in Snow Shoe Township, state police reported.
State police at Rockview say they found $351,164 in suspected drug money in luggage and in a cardboard box in a Dodge Durango driven by Ivory Anthony Weaver, 48.
Weaver began resisting officers when they seized the money, and police say they were forced to taser him to overcome the resistance.
State police stopped the vehicle, driven by Weaver, for speeding near mile marker 149 in the eastbound lanes around 4 p.m. Tuesday and say they found numerous indicators of criminal activity.

He was arrested and charged with resisting arrest, false identification to law enforcement, and disorderly conduct, arraigned before District Judge Thomas Jordan and placed in Centre County jail in lieu of $25,000 bail and immigration detainers, police said.
Police are still investigating the incident.
