Two people were injured Thursday evening in a two-car crash on Interstate 99 in Patton Township.
State police at Rockview said Leonard Louchart, 78, of Johnstown, had left his 2005 Chrysler minivan in the left lane of I-99 at mile marker 67 and had just gotten back into the car when it was struck by a 2009 Hyundai Accent driven by Kathryn Meetz, 27, of Tyrone.
Meetz suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center for treatment, police said. Louchart sustained minor injuries and was not treated.
Both vehicles were severely damaged and were towed, police said.
