Loganton teen killed in Clinton County crash

A vehicle crash claimed the life of a teenager Thursday morning in Crawford Township, Clinton County.

Seth Shea, 17, of Loganton, was killed in a 7 a.m. crash on Pine Loganton Road, according to a news release from the Clinton County Coroner’s Office. Coroner Zach Hanna pronounced the death at the scene of the crash at about 8 a.m.

According to the release, Shea was northbound when he lost control of his 1985 Volkswagen Golf while negotiating a curve in the roadway. The car left the road and struck a tree, police said.

Hanna ruled the manner of death as accidental, the release said.

Central Mountain High School will be providing counseling services to any students in need, the release said.
