Boy Scouts donate thousands of pounds of food to the State College Food Bank

During the Juniata Valley Council Boy Scouts of America’s recent “Scouting for Food” food drive, more than 48,000 pounds of food was donated to sites across the area, including the State College Food Bank.

According to a news release, 31 scouting packs, troops and crews participated in the two-weekend effort in 14 different communities.
