Peter Tombros has joined the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center Board of Directors. Tombros, a Penn State alumnus, replaced long-time board member James Broadhurst, who announced he was stepping down from the board earlier this year.
Tombros’ professional career includes eight years as president and CEO of Enzon Pharmaceuticals; under his leadership the company grew from a market capitalization of $44 million to $3 billion. Tombros spent 25 years at Pfizer Inc. in a variety of positions including vice president of marketing, senior vice president and general manager. He also was executive vice president at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals.
He also is a professor and distinguished executive in residence in the Eberly College of Science BS/MBA Program at Penn State. Financial Times, one of the world’s leading business news organizations, recently selected Tombros to receive its 2015 Outstanding Director Award.
William P. Hayes, chairman, president and CEO of Kish Bank, recently announced the promotion of Gregory Hayes to executive vice president and head of retail banking and client solutions.

Gregory Hayes will be responsible for retail banking, regional market managers, branch systems and support functions, and loan administration. These new responsibilities are in addition to his current responsibilities, which include management of the retail banking platform and Kish’s Centre County region. He has also been appointed to the bank’s six-person office of the chair.
