JazzPa festival continues in Bellefonte

JazzPA, a four-day festival that highlights jazz music and its musicians, continues this weekend \in Bellefonte.

According to JazzPA, the event began in 2005 as the one-day State College Jazz Festival at the South Hills School grounds.

A year later, the festival grew to a two-day event at multiple venues in downtown State College. And in 2007, it grew to three days.

By 2008, it became known as JazzPA and moved to Bellefonte.

This year, featured musicians include Jay Anderson, Benny Benack III, Sheila Jordan, Russ Kassoff, Dennis Mackrel and more. Some local musicians include Jeff Beck, Arthur Goldstein Quartet with Steve Bowman, the State College Area High School Jazz Band, The Tarnished Six, Billy Test, Jay Vonada, Tommy Wareham and Zeropoint.
