The stop lights at the intersections of Willowbank, Walnut and Water streets in Spring Township glowed red, yellow and green Monday for the first time in months.
Spring Township Manager Bill MacMath said the control box for the lights was reinstalled Thursday. The lights blinked yellow over the weekend and were fully operational Monday morning, he said. The box was destroyed in an accident in November. Control boxes for lights must be custom-made, which caused the delay in relighting the signals, MacMath said in November.
The lights were upgraded to the latest electronics, MacMath said, and the new box and upgrades cost about $18,000.
