A Bellefonte man’s death led police to the discovery of drugs, cellphones, cash, computers and drug paraphernalia Monday morning.
Emergency medical personnel and Bellefonte police responded to a home on the 100 block of West High Street after getting a call about a medical emergency about 1:20 a.m., according to a release from Bellefonte police. A 27-year-old man died from a suspected drug overdose after police and paramedics responded.
Bellefonte police, assisted by Spring Township police and state police, subsequently conducted a search of two homes after responding to the call, when the contraband was seized, according to police.
The investigation into the death is ongoing, police said.
