At a Penns Valley Area school board meeting last week, the board unanimously approved the 2015-16 final budget.
District business manager Jef Wall said budget expenditures would total $25.6 million with a 46.6986 millage rate, or 3.7 percent tax increase.
That means the median rate a Penns Valley homeowner will pay is $73 more a year, or about $6 a month, district spokesman Nate Althouse said.
