The Centre County Board of Elections approved the State College Area High School project referendum question and wording, clearing the way for it to appear on the May 20 ballot.
The district is looking to pass the $85 million referendum to help support its $115 million project to add heavy renovations and new construction to its high school on Westerly Parkway. The referendum needs a simple majority to pass.
Registered voters with any party affiliation or independents are eligible to vote, but anyone wishing to vote must be registered by April 21.
