Former bus driver faces sex assault charges, State College police say

State College police will be holding a joint press conference with Centre County District Attorney Stacy Parks Miller and State College Area School District Superintendent Bob O’Donnell today to address a criminal incident.

Matthew Dunlap, 25, a former contracted bus driver, was arraigned Tuesday on charges he had “illegal contact” with a 15-year-old student over the summer at a private residence, according to press releases from both the police and the school district. The charges listed are statutory sexual assault, corruption of minors, unlawful contact, obscene and other sexual materials and performances and indecent assault.

District Judge Tom Jordan set bail at $200,000. A preliminary hearing in the case is set for Nov. 23.
