A two-vehicle crash on Sunday sent one man to the hospital.
The crash occurred at about 5:30 p.m. on Old U.S. Route 220 at its intersection with Second Avenue in Boggs Township, according to state police at Rockview.
The incident occurred as the first vehicle — a Ford driven by Howard Haus, 68, of Milesburg — was traveling west on Old 220 and slowed to make a left turn onto Second Avenue, police said. A second vehicle, a Suzuki driven by Charles Harter, 44, of Howard, was traveling east on Old 220.
Police said Haus didn’t see Harter and proceeded to make a left turn into Harter’s path.
Harter’s vehicle slid onto its side and hit the passenger side of Haus’ vehicle, police said.
Harter sustained injury and was flown by helicopter from the scene to UPMC Altoona. Haus was not injured, and was charged with vehicle turning left, according to police.
Milesburg and Bellefonte EMS responded to the scene.
