Penn State student cited for disorderly conduct, drunkenness

A Penn State student faces several citations following a reported fight outside a downtown fraternity.

According to State College police, officers on patrol observed the 20-year-old female in an altercation with an 19-year-old male in the parking lot of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon house. The officers reportedly saw the female hit the male several times in the head and face.

The woman was taken into custody and to the police station, police said. She was evaluated and taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center for an alcohol overdose.

She was cited for disorderly conduct, underage drinking and public drunkenness, police said.
