Diesel reported stolen from fuel depot

Hoy Transfer Inc., a College Township moving company, reported Friday that someone earlier in the week had siphoned 120 gallons of diesel fuel from trucks stored in a Clyde Avenue depot.

Police: Man falls asleep at wheel, crashes

A man fell asleep at the wheel and crashed his car in Benner Township early Friday morning.

State College police said Edward Hampton drove into a utility pole off East College Avenue near the State Correctional Institution at Rockview and was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center with unknown injuries.

Electronic devices reported stolen

State College police received two reports Friday of stolen electronic devices.

Someone took an iPod and a laptop computer collectively worth $700 from an apartment at 220 E. Hamilton Ave. in State College. At Tussey Mountain Ski Area, an MP3 player, cell phone and video camera, worth $455 together, were taken from a locker.

Police say woman forged contract

A Bellefonte woman was charged with one count of forgery after allegedly writing a bogus contract.

State police at Huntingdon say Elizabeth Spangler, 31, wrote a contract between her and Barbara Gold, 40, of Huntingdon, on Feb. 1 and signed Gold’s name without permission.
