A 23-year-old State College man charged with sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl at a party in 2011 will spend at least 11 months in jail for the crime.
Fahron Rosemond pleaded guilty this week to a felony charge of statutory sexual assault and indecent assault of a person less than 16-years-old, according to court documents.
Rosemond had been scheduled for a one-day trial on Monday, but instead pleaded guilty to the charges. He also pleaded guilty to a simple assault charge stemming from a January 2012 domestic dispute, court documents said.
He was sentenced to serve 11 and a half months to 23 and a half months in jail on the felony charge, followed by four years of probation on the remaining counts.
