A Mifflin County woman will spend a year in state prison for selling methadone last year to get money for Easter presents.
Britney Rittenhouse, 26, of Lewistown, was sentenced Tuesday by Judge Bradley P. Lunsford.
Bellefonte police arrested Rittenhouse in April 2012 after watching the deal go down inside a car parked on Willowbank Street. Police later arrested Rittenhouse and the man who drove her, 28-year-old Matthew Seville, of Lewistown, at a gas station in Bellefonte.
Rittenhouse told police she needed the money to buy Easter presents, according to a criminal complaint.
