State College police have released images of two suspects in a string of apartment burglaries that occurred on the student-created drinking holiday, State Patty’s Day.
Police said that two men entered a number of apartments March 1 in Meridian II on East College Avenue during a fire alarm in the building.
The suspects removed items from two apartments, but they apparently walked into as many as 11, police said.
Surveillance footage from the building shows the men trying door handles to find apartments left unlocked during the fire alarm, police said.

One resident reported a burglary the next day, and another reported one Friday, police said. Police checked the building’s camera system and found that the burglaries occurred on State Patty’s Day.
Another burglary occurred State Patty’s Day in the University Towers on East College Avenue, police said.
Police are waiting to check surveillance footage from that incident, which also was reported Friday, but said the suspects match the description of those in the Meridian II incidents.
