A State College man is in jail after an altercation with a woman.
State College police arrested Adityya Chakravarty, 20, for assaulting a woman Thursday.
Chakravarty was arraigned in front of District Judge Tom Jordan. He was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and a summary count of harassment.
He was incarcerated at Centre County Correctional Facility in lieu of $20,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is slated for Wednesday.
