A Snow Shoe man faces burglary, indecent assault and harassment charges after a reported incident involving a family member Sunday.
Richard Wayne Rash, 54, reportedly entered the Boggs Township residence of a female family member at about 4:20 p.m., according to the criminal complaint. The woman told police that she smelled alcohol on Rash and that he was making little sense.
The woman, who had called her husband after Rash’s arrival and had him on an open line, told police that Rash touched her inappropriately and tried to kiss her, according to the police affidavit. She told police she pushed him away and avoided him and he left.
The woman’s husband was with other family members, who called 911, police said. State troopers responded to the residence at about 5 p.m. and stopped Rash in his vehicle as he was leaving, according to the complaint. Police found him to be “highly intoxicated,” police said.
