A Port Matilda man was sentenced Thursday to four to 10 years in prison after a string of burglaries during a two-year period.
The Centre County District Attorney’s Office released a statement on Friday night that said Jesse E. Orndorf, 26, pleaded guilty to multiple felony burglary counts on Sept. 25.
He was ordered to pay restitution to the businesses whose property was damaged or stolen, the report said.
According to a report, workers from Noll’s Gun Shop in Spring Mills reported in October 2012 that the store was broken into and more than 20 guns were stolen.

Upon arrival, police noticed the front glass door was smashed and other doors had pry marks, the report said.
The stolen guns then surfaced in Syracuse, N.Y., officials said.
The investigation remained open until July when two Port Matilda businesses also reported break-ins on July 15.
The report said video surveillance showed Orndorf at one of the locations. Orndorf then allegedly admitted to all the reported burglaries.
