A hit-and-run accident in Rush Township is being investigated, according to state police.
The incident occurred sometime between midnight and 10:30 a.m., police said. A blue Chevrolet, “possibly an early 2000’s model Cavalier,” was seen traveling north on Lochlomond Road near the intersection with Davis Street when it left the road and struck a red Chevrolet Silverado, police said. The car then drove into an adjacent yard, causing damage to a flower garden, before going back on the road and resuming travel northward, according to the release.
Police said the vehicle should have damage to the front end, including the headlights. Anyone with information is asked to call the state police barracks in Philipsburg at 814-342-3370.
