State College police charge man after reportedly selling drugs to an informant last year

A man is charged with six counts of felony possession with intent to deliver after reportedly selling marijuana to a State College police informant last year on the 300 block of S. Pugh Street.

Alexzander Ross Rubin, 23, of Phoenixville, reportedly sold marijuana to the informant twice last March and again in April, according to the criminal complaint. After the last buy, police obtained a warrant and searched the residence Rubin shared with three others. Police reportedly found marijuana, amphetamines, prescription drugs and drug paraphernalia in the home, according to the criminal complaint.

Rubin is also accused of using his cellphone to set up the buys and with misdemeanor counts of possessing drugs and paraphernalia, according to court documents. Rubin was released on $50,000 unsecured bail and waived his preliminary hearing.
