A Lock Haven man is suspected by state police of assaulting three women, including an 81-year-old.
Troopers were called to a Marion Township home Wednesday night about a domestic violence incident. They arrived on the scene at about 10:20 p.m. and found Sean Riggle, 23, covered in blood in the garage, according to an affidavit of probable cause.
He appeared “extremely intoxicated” and was incoherent, police said. Several windows of the garage had been broken, there was a hole in the drywall and blood and glass were on the floor, police said.
Police spoke to three women at the home who told troopers that Riggle pushed each of them to the ground and punched them. One of the women was 81 years old, police said.
A woman living at the residence told police she had broken up with Riggle over the phone earlier in the day, according to police.
All required treatment for injuries, police said. The three women were taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center; Riggle was taken to Lock Haven Hospital.
Riggle is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment. He was arraigned before District Judge Thomas Jordan on Thursday morning and bail was set $75,000. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 25.
