Philly man arrested after hotel room search yields drugs

A Philadelphia man faces felony drug charges after a hotel room search Wednesday night.

The Centre County Drug Task Force got a tip that drugs were being dealt out of a room at the Ramada in State College, police said. Officers executed a search warrant at about 9:45 p.m. and Jamere Bolds, 18, answered the door, according to court documents.

The search yielded 143 bags of suspected crack cocaine, weighing 13.4 grams, 48 bags of suspected heroin and 23.8 grams of marijuana, police said. Some of the items were concealed, according to court documents. Most of the heroin was hidden in a Pringles container and some of the crack cocaine was concealed in a TV stand, police said.

Bolds was arraigned before District Judge Leslie Dutchcot on Thursday morning and charged with three counts of possession with intent to deliver. Bail was set at $75,000. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.
