State police at Philipsburg are seeking information in relation to a hit-and-run accident that left a man injured Thursday night.
A 33-year-old Philipsburg man was walking toward town on the 100 block of Presqueisle Street about midnight when he fell on the road, police said. A vehicle, which the man told police may have been a dark-colored sedan, traveling east on the road hit him, police said. The vehicle then fled in the direction of Front Street. The man was flown to UPMC Altoona with an open fracture to the left leg, police said.
Anyone with further information is asked to contact the Philipsburg barracks at 342-3370.
