Additional charges have been filed in the case of a missing Renovo mother of three.
William Snyder, 34, was initially charged with abuse of a corpse and evidence tampering in Clinton County on April 11, after the body of 34-year-old Kelley Jo Snyder was found.
On Friday, Clinton County Coroner Zach Hanna said that an autopsy had determined Kelly Snyder died as a result of manual strangulation, making the manner of death a homicide.
Charges of first- and third-degree murder were added to the previous charges Friday, state police at Lamar said in their release.
According to court documents, a preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 26. Snyder is being held at Clinton County Prison without bail.
