State College police are investigating a burglary in Harris Township.
Officers responded to a report Monday at a Rosslyn Road home that items, including jewelry, were missing from the residence.
The homeowners told police that they were doing yard work between 3 and 4 p.m. and left their garage doors open as they worked. They noticed a “suspicious, slow-moving” gray SUV, possibly a Honda CRV, drive past their home twice and eventually park along the road a short distance away.
The driver exited the vehicle while the passenger, described as appearing to be in his 20s and wearing a baseball cap, remained, the owners told police. They found the items missing when they went back in the home about 4 p.m., police said.
