A man who returned a lost purse to a woman about two weeks ago was charged over the weekend with stalking the woman.
State College police arrested Brandon George, 32, after they were called to the woman’s home Sunday. She reported that George was at her home pounding on the door but left when she called 911, according to police.
The woman reported that George began entering her home uninvited after returning the purse and she began locking the apartment, according to court documents. She told officers he had been pounding on the door at different points in time for three days prior to police being notified, police said.
Police talked with George shortly afterward and said he smelled of alcohol and marijuana, according to court documents. He was found to be intoxicated and a joint was found in his pocket, police said.
